Can’t get enough of Optimus Prime and his gang? The first movie kicked ass… now, the second movie is underway. Megatron is back!

If you visit the official website of Transformers the Movie, you’ll see that they are already hyping up the 2009 release of the sequel, “Revenge of the Fallen“. IMDB posts a June 26, 2009 release and also reported that the rumor about Shia Labeouf’s  (who played Sam Witwicky) finger getting amputated is not true. The actor recently got into a car accident (now that’s confirmed) and injured his hand.

 Here’s the supposed plot according to the official IMDB entry of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen

“The battle for Earth has ended but the battle for the universe has just begun. After returning to Cybertron, Starscream assumes command of the Decepticons, and has decided to return to Earth with force. The Autobots believing that peace was possible finds out that Megatron’s dead body has been stolen from the US Military by Skorpinox and revives him using his own spark. Now Megatron is back seeking revenge and with Starscream and more Decepticon reinforcements on the way, the Autobots with reinforcements of their own, may have more to deal with then meets the eye.”

It’s sure to be another epic battle.
